Meeting for Worship during building work at Chesham Meeting House
Our Meeting for Worship remains Sunday 10.45 but through
August and September has a temporary venue: we have hired a room from the
Buckinghamshire Mind charity at Sun House in Church Street (opposite its
junction with Bury Lane).
Changes to the times of Meeting for Worship at Aylesbury
Important Changes to the times for Meeting for Worship at Aylesbury:
To conform with current bus timetables and accommodate the needs of those Friends who use public transport to attend Meetings, it has been agreed that from August 6th onwards, Meetings for Worship will take place slightly later than previously. On the second and subsequent Sundays each month, worship in the Meeting House will be from 10.45 am to 11.45 am; on the first Sunday in the month, it will take place in the Meeting House from 10.45 to 11.30am, followed by 30 minutes for refreshments and then our Meeting for Worship for Business from 12 noon onwards.
Midweek meeting for worship continues to be held on the 4th Wednesday only, from 7-7:30pm, in the library. Next meetings, Weds 23rd August / Weds 27th September

Sunday, 17th September
Concert 3-5pm with Jane Faulkner, member of Jordans local meeting, violin, Pal Banda, cello, and Zsuzsa Berenyi, viola, performing string trios by Beethoven and Dohnanyi. The concert will last one hour and will be followed by refreshments. After expenses all proceeds will go to Quaker Homeless Action. Free entry. Advance booking appreciated.

Retreat with Alex Wildwood on “A spiritual basis for sustainable living,” a follow-on from last year's workshops
Saturday 11th November
Digging the Dirt; an hour-long play with Gill Nathanson & Bill Buffery of the Multi Story Theatre Company. The play focuses on issues of freedom of speech, raising many issues of concern to Friends. Official poster will follow.
